"It's asking a great deal that things should appeal to your reason as well as your sense of the aesthetic." W. Somerset Maugham, 'Of Human Bondage', 1915 English dramatist & novelist (1874 - 1965)
"Who knows what form the forward momentum of life will take in the time ahead or what use it will make of our anguished searching. The most that any one of us can seem to do is fashion something--an object or ourselves--and drop it into the confusion, make an offering of it, so to speak, to the life force."

Phil, so glad you are getting to the root of this dreaded cloud of gloom that lurks over your head and some family members. If you did nothing to correct this problem, you could wake up dead. You have not been youself for some time now. Do hope you get this all worked out and are able to get some much needed rest. We want the real Phil back!

I have had a number of sleep studies over the years. I don't have sleep apnea, but a largely undefined sleep disorder, resulting in my sleeping a lot but not getting much out of it. According to my specialist, I've been chronically sleep deprived likely for decades.

My brain hurts.
